November 2006 - Healesville Sanctuary

The Herman clan all made there way to Healesville Sanctuary for a picnic lunch to celebrate Morna's Birthday.

Healesville Sanctuary is 40 kms from home and is set in a natural bushland environment where paths wind through different habitats.

It is one of only two places to have successfully bred a platypus, the other being Sydney's Taronga Zoo.
